* [C++11] Add 'override' keywords and remove 'virtual'. Additionally add ↵Craig Topper2014-04-29
| | | | | | 'final' and leave 'virtual' on some methods that are marked virtual without overriding anything and have no obvious overrides themselves. XCore edition git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@207501 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8
* Switch all uses of LLVM_OVERRIDE to just use 'override' directly.Craig Topper2014-03-02

* XCore target: fix const section handlingRobert Lytton2014-02-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | Xcore target ABI requires const data that is externally visible to be handled differently if it has C-language linkage rather than C++ language linkage. Clang now emits ".cp.rodata" section information. All other externally visible constant data will be placed in the DP section. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@201144 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8
* Pass the Mangler by reference.Rafael Espindola2014-02-08
| | | | | | | It is never null and it is not used in casts, so there is no reason to use a pointer. This matches how we pass TM. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@201025 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8
* Add LLVM_OVERRIDE to a few declarations.Rafael Espindola2014-02-08

* Revert r199871 and replace it with a simple check in the debug infoEric Christopher2014-01-28
| | | | | | | | | code to see if we're emitting a function into a non-default text section. This is still a less-than-ideal solution, but more contained than r199871 to determine whether or not we're emitting code into an array of comdat sections. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@200269 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8
* Add a variable to track whether or not we've used a unique section,Eric Christopher2014-01-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | e.g. linkonce, to TargetMachine and set it when we've done so for ELF targets currently. This involved making TargetMachine non-const in a TLOF use and propagating that change around - I'm open to other ideas. This will be used in a future commit to handle emitting debug information with ranges. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@199871 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8
* XCore target: Add large code modelRobert Lytton2013-12-02
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When using large code model: Global objects larger than 'CodeModelLargeSize' bytes are placed in sections named with a trailing ".large" The folded global address of such objects are lowered into the const pool. During inspection it was noted that LowerConstantPool() was using a default offset of zero. A fix was made, but due to only offsets of zero being generated, testing only verifies the change is not detrimental. Correct the flags emitted for explicitly specified sections. We assume the size of the object queried by getSectionForConstant() is never greater than CodeModelLargeSize. To handle greater than CodeModelLargeSize, changes to AsmPrinter would be required. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@196087 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8

* switch off of 'Section' onto MCSection. We're not properly usingChris Lattner2009-07-31
| | | | | | | | MCSection subclasses yet, but this is a step in the right direction. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@77708 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8
* Rip all of the global variable lowering logic out of TargetAsmInfo. SinceChris Lattner2009-07-28
it is highly specific to the object file that will be generated in the end, this introduces a new TargetLoweringObjectFile interface that is implemented for each of ELF/MachO/COFF/Alpha/PIC16 and XCore. Though still is still a brutal and ugly refactoring, this is a major step towards goodness. This patch also: 1. fixes a bunch of dangling pointer problems in the PIC16 backend. 2. disables the TargetLowering copy ctor which PIC16 was accidentally using. 3. gets us closer to xcore having its own crazy target section flags and pic16 not having to shadow sections with its own objects. 4. fixes wierdness where ELF targets would set CStringSection but not CStringSection_. Factor the code better. 5. fixes some bugs in string lowering on ELF targets. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@77294 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8
